Recently I got an error message on the dash screen to “Service AWD.” It stayed on for 2 days then went away and did not come back. I’m thinking this is weird because the car is new and has so few miles. Well, then I a notice random vibration sound coming from the front axle every so often. Lasted about 2 seconds each time it happened. Usually on mild acceleration or deceleration. Maybe 7-10 times in a 30 minute drive. Decided to turn the car to RWD only and the vibration sounds stopped. Took it to the dealer and they confirmed the AWD disconnect was defective and will be replaced under warranty. Just wanted to pass this along.

December 2025 build date. Bought it off the lot. It had sat on the lot quite some time before I purchased. I’ll be sure to update this thread after the fix is done.

Thanks for sharing. This is something I haven't read about here. Hope everything goes well.

I like that you received the warning. However, the fact that the "Service AWD" disappeared and there was still a problem with the AWD disconnect is not good. That message should remain until it's fixed or cleared by the service center.

I wonder if they did that big April update which a LOT of them needed.
