Bright pedal kit

The 2 piece bright pedal dress up kit was included in a box with my new Charger. Curious to know if anyone has installed them. Any downsides to it? and are there any installation hints? It's a pretty simple slip on install, but a tight fit. I'm thinking some soap on the backside of them to slide easier?

The Performance Brake pedal was simple for me to snap in myself. However, I couldn’t quite get the gas pedal on. My service center technician did it for me once while applying an update.
