Display screen issues

My display screen just randomly goes black while driving. It controls most everything. Also randomly comes back on. Same with the mood lighting. I took it in for service and was told there was a loose connection. However, 5 days later and it’s doing it again. If anyone has a fix, I’d appreciate it.

One or both screens? Very long? That sounds like a simple answer but probably more involved. There may have been one guy that said this, but a while ago. Did you search here for it? Oh yeah, build date?

Mine did that the other day. Screen went blank for approximately 45 seconds and then came back on. My guess is that Uconnect was trying to finish an over the air update and "rebooted" the schreen.

The large screen first, then the dash. I should explain that I have the dash set to show the mini map. So when the large goes out, I lose the map feature. Mph still shows.

We did not connect our Apple phones to run the apps. Just phone contact data.
