Before I had PPF applied on the whole vehicle, I asked for amber on the DRL but was warned that it’s illegal here, so I passed.

Korean law says rear turn signals must be amber and DRLs must be white. A stock U.S. car on SOFA plates with factory red rear turns is normally left alone. That is common here. Since white DRL is stock we can't modify it.
