2026 Scat Pac Plus current Uconnect version.

2026 Ram 1500 update yesterday from U39.2 to U42.16. Fixed the Android auto problems. Tech said same update for the Dodge Charger. Will find out next week if it works.

Of UConnect? No, I don’t think so. I had the car connected to my home WiFi last week but I can’t tell that it did anything. How are these cars supposed to receive Unconnect updates?

Nobody freaking knows. It has a Wi-Fi connection option but it's all so obfuscated.
It's not unique to the charger either. I've heard complaints from other newer Stellantis cars running the same OS.
I assume the update is just rolling out staggered but my car has the oldest version number I've seen and still no updates. It's always on my wifi at home.

Uconnect U42.16 update is part of the 78D/NHTSA 26V-531 recall. Update by USB only by dealer, not over the air.

@NewYorker I'm surprised yours isn't working since you have the latest update on the car-- there goes my theory that the update would fix it on it's own
