Ignition On

The ideal charging depends upon what the battery voltage is also. Even after a charge, and sitting overnight, it drops from 12.2 to 11.9, NOT good. Anyone else measure theirs?
I "think" (deep diving memory here) that mine was measuring out at 12.3 after having it on most of the day wiring a dash camera and measuring it when hunting for a fuse to use. That would have been with stereo on. That would have been measured chassis to some circuit which should be BAT voltage or very, very close to terminal voltage.

Well, well, well........... Looky here. I decided to measure the voltage on both, and they were low for sure. It sat for 16 hours after driving yesterday. Of course, they left the drain tube off! So, wonder why I (we) don't trust dealerships???????

Grantee if this occurs on my car it would never happen again to anybody else that came in for a battery. The head of service would make heads roll once he's notified of the issue. I've got a great dealer. RJD

I'll head back today after I view my dashcam video............ I'll also go right to the owner like I had to 3 years ago.
