Software Updating While Driving

Do we know if 43.12-PROD addresses the recall or will that be a separate update? Mine has 43.12 but the recall icon in the app is still showing.

We don't actually know if this addresses the recall for certain, but it is the latest version available OTA. The update started rolling out JUST before the recall was publicly announced. It's likely that it addresses it, but isn't confirmed by anybody yet.

Ok thanks just checked my version and it is theMY24.u43.12. Pro . So I guess I got mine messed up. This seems to be what had my app to start working. Later RJD

No. I think people are getting confused over the U-Connect app vs. car updates. I'd be stunned if we could update the car's ECM, TCM, etc.

For what it's worth, here are all the updates I received before I got the UWD.

June 24, 2026 - first dealer flash set after my car was transported from the port to service center.
  • Power Hatch Module - RSU 26-103
Power liftgate computer. Fixes hatch open/close logic, not the engine.
  • Electronic Shift Module (ESM) - RSU 26-057
Official TSB 08-138-26. Stops a false “Service Shifter” message, P0607 internal-performance code, and the car refusing to leave Park.
  • Drivetrain Control Module (DTCM) - RSU 26-110
AWD / front-axle-disconnect computer. This is the one you said killed the check-engine light on that visit. Related official bulletin is TSB 08-211-26: “Service AWD” and code C1463-94 (front axle disconnect unexpected operation). AWD can stay locked in if that software is old.
  • O2 / fuel-trim software - RSU 26-090
Official TSB 18-022-26. Flashes PCM, TCM, and ISCM together. Stops false downstream O2 / fuel-trim codes P2096–P2099 and P068A (ECM shut off too early). Also covers no-crank / no-start and active-exhaust valve behavior.
August 12, 2026 - second dealer flash set after I received a CEL.
  • TCM
    68716300AI → 68716300AK
    Transmission computer. Small calibration bump.
  • ISCM
    68564724AE → 68771651AA
Ignition System Control Module. Bigger jump - new software package.
Note: Same job as the June 26-090 O2/fuel-trim update, just newer files. The modules that talk to the O2 sensors and ignition shutdown got rewritten again.

August 15, 2026 - I got the UWD to FCA-MY24.U43.12-PROD.

Damn, those are some good receipts! I really wish I was this thorough at tracking things like this. I just throw my receipts in a filing cabinet and never dig them out again...

Thank you for posting all this. I almost certainly need that fuel trim update-- I just started getting a 2097 code today (Fuel trim too rich) two days after getting the 43.12 update OTA. I also had issues with the active exhaust valves in the cold weather this past winter that prevented remote start. Fingers crossed it fixes that.

You certainly had more up dates than I have had that I'm aware of. Only had 2 so far. Later RJD

I don’t get it. Dealer told me a week ago there are no updates available for my RT Plus manufactured 4/30. Do they apply these at purchase? Something isn’t adding up.

When I took my vehicle in last Friday for the recall they also performed RSU 26-110 26MY LB Drivetrain Control Module Software and RSU 26-103 24-27MY LB Power Hatch Module software updates. Recall updated software to current version U43-12.
