I’m averaging like 17.5, 60% of the time I’m in sport and 40% auto. Eco limits the engine to ~300hp, I believe. That’s pretty good fuel economy if you’re not itching to feel the power. Smiles per gallon tend to trump miles for me

I drove 100 miles on secondary roads and did not use Eco mode but showed 21.6mpg. Not bad as I was in some hills. Later RJD

Do you guys use cruise control much? In other cars, I've found that if I use that, I get tremendous mileage on any car.
I use it whenever I can. I like the feature that when ACC is enabled your car will automatically slow the car down when you approach a car in front of you that is slower. Later RJD

I finally passed 100 miles and my S/S never activated all day yesterday. I sat in my driveway with my foot on the brake for 5 minutes, and the engine never turned off. I know there's a bunch of conditions that have to be met for this to activate, but I don't think any were present. Thoughts?
Did you have your trans in Park while in the driveway. If so S/S dose not not function. Later RJD

No, in drive after I stopped with the brake on. Just like I would at a stop light. I have never seen my engine die at a stop yet.

Ok so i live in NYC and stop and go traffic is everywhere....I keep the stop/start on and wile I get terrible mpg (14.7) it helps keep it there and not go down even further

I would think he had good pressure on the break being in gear in the drive. If you have in park it will not turn off. Later RJD
I use it a lot. You WILL get much better gas mileage with both the current and last gen Chargers using CC because it will go into the higher gears much quicker and stay in them more often. I've noticed that the Chargers' transmissions really like being in lower gears

Can you verify the engine shuts off and the tack goes to 0?

Well went into town today so I decided not to turn off S/S well it never shut off and I had to stop for several stop lights. I'm not complaining but sure is strange and like not having to remember to turn S/S off. Next test is I go to supper in town every Friday so we shall see what happens tonight.
