What's new

Track and drag mode no longer available after dealer software update due to engine light coming on.

This is my video showing it

Thanks for the video! I was always looking for that top middle bar to show drag and track where you scroll through the top middle in the IC… never thought to look in the bottom left.

Are you pushing left or right on the drive modes selector buttons after the double button push to cycle the modes?

My car was built in January 2026, I got it this past Saturday. It does not have the Track or Drag options. It's possible the dealer updated the car prior to purchase but I can't say for sure.

Might call them and see if they did. You follow instruction in video. Later RJD

I did follow the video. No Track/Drag. It just cycles through the regular modes. I guess I could call them and see. It's fine either way.

I’m fairly certain anyone that had these modes still, probably shouldn’t. It’s not something Dodge would Easter egg as they always had track mode available through drive modes in the past. Drag mode is a new thing, but would surely be available the same way, directly.

If I had them I certainly wouldn’t use them and risk blowing something up without real confirmation from Dodge.

@DodgeCares are you able to confirm anything about the track and drag modes in the new Sixpack Scat Packs? Is it supposed to be available… the dealers have limited knowledge of this and the information in the owners manual could go both ways.

I agree with you here, I think it was a mistake that they didn't intend to include.

Track/Drag Mode Launch Mode/Performance Pages still there for me after dealer upgraded to REV C software.

I'd love to have Track mode. It was awesome in my Challenger Scat Pack. I bet Drag would be even hotter.

Well I have not got to checking mine as yet. Guess I should when I get time. Later RJD

My bad, I meant to say "Launch Mode/Performance pages" still there after software upgrade.
Not "Track/Drag mode" (that's only for Daytona EV, right?)

Yeah, the Daytona (Scat Pack with Track Pack) has drive modes of: Auto (street), Sport, Track, Drag, Custom, Wet/Snow.
Then under Race options, you get Launch Control, Drift Mode
Then under Drift Mode, you get 3 levels with level 3 being Donut Mode. (The thing is, Drift/especially Donut Modes, are smoke/mirrors, not tire smoke. Unless you are on a slippery surface (dusty/gravel) or put skinnier tires on it, you can't break loose just the rear.
Everything else is controlling 3 levels of Traction Control, Default Regeneration (you can change with paddles), Steering Effort, Accelerator Response (and sound), and Suspension Stiffness. All are items you can mix/match in Custom.
Then Drag mode has its own unique setting for Power/Suspension.

Man, them is a a lot of options.

Mine was built 5/26, and I can't find the track/drag settings anywhere.

That's only for the Daytona Charger EV. You have the 3.0L 6 Pack, correct?
The gas version only has Auto, Sport, Custom and Snow.

Yep that's correct. I checked mine this morning no got. Later RJD

...
Really about ½ that, I use Auto, or Custom well over 90% of the time (which I have all set to Street except for Powertrain/Sound set to Sport). Then I play with Track or Drag, well, when playing.
The options we'd like aren't there though. But hey, best damn toy car I've ever had, and I've been playing with toy cars for 60 years now.

Same here for me on the driving modes.
Either I leave it in Auto, or I double tap the Steering Wheel Drive Mode button twice for Custom (which I set to "Sport").

Mine is currently in at the dealership for a CEL. I am assuming when I get it back I will have lost Track/Drag modes. So before I brought it in I went and had a bit of fun in each. Track mode will squeal the tires from just stomping it. Also decided to record revs in each mode. There is no sound difference even though in the cab it gets deeper when you change the modes.

Man… seems like a car with launch control and line lock should minimally have the Drag mode 🤔. Maybe we’ll get it officially some day… my money is on them making it a paid option on the 27 or late 26s though coupled with a track/drag package…. Which is lame when many of these are already sitting at 70k sticker.

I agree about Drag mode since the cars have line lock and Launch control imo it is silly it doesn't have it. Track mode I can understand it not having it.

You and I have the Charger Six Pack, not the Daytona. We don't have Track/Drag mode.
I had the Revision C flash done for a check engine light, didn't lose anything.
