What's new

Track and drag mode no longer available after dealer software update due to engine light coming on.

You and I have the Charger Six Pack, not the Daytona. We don't have Track/Drag mode.
I had the Revision C flash done for a check engine light, didn't lose anything.
Yep same here. Later RJD

My bad, I meant to say "Launch Mode/Performance pages" still there after software upgrade.
Not "Track/Drag mode" (that's only for Daytona EV, right?)
There was a bug-- at least I assume it was a bug, others think it was an intentional secret.
Anyway, the bug allowed a janky swap to track and drag modes on the sixpack. The first dealer software update patched this out.

Otherwise you are correct, drag and track modes are exclusive to the track package on the Daytona EV for now. It would be cool if Dodge gave us early adopters those modes to say thanks, but maybe the Diablosport or JB4 can re-enable them. I am not sure they would be needed though, a tune will probably do more than those modes would.

Sounds like this will be a option on new production cars. Just another way of making money. Later RJD

Funniest thing 'I've read in a while. You should read what us early adopters have gone through for over a year and a half. Only some are related to drivetrain. We've been beta testing your cars for you! And we haven't been given anything extra afterwards.

Hey, at least they jacked up the new model year EV version msrps, that should soften some of the horrid depreciation…. They could have gone the other way, like with the SRT Durangos HC/392 and dropped the stickers 20 grand on the newest MY 🥸

I 100% had Drag/Track. I got mine in Dec and played with it off and on since then.

From when I bought my car new, I never saw a Drag/Track option.
On what part of the info screen did you see them located?

Okay, I searched the Owners Manual for "drag" and came up with this:

drgmde.webp

drgmode.webp

So it definitely says Drag Mode can be available with gas models.
But from when I bought my car new (even before the flash to eliminate the check engine light) it definitely never had it.

So you had to double press the drive modes button on the steering wheel. Then you would navigate "down" with the arrow and it would go to Drag then Track.

I assume, and well when you ass-u-me

I assume, that the Track and Drag modes would be used on an option like the Track Pack on the Daytona with bigger brakes, and the dynamically adjustable suspension. And maybe they are pulling a GM and holding back options for later years to get people to upgrade.

So I can put my Sixpack Plus into Drag mode but when I put it into Track mode there are no settings showing. It looks like I have Drag mode but not Track mode.

I see I have the track, sport auto and wet/snow. Later RJD

In Driving Mode on the center block I have Sport and Auto, and underneath that Wet/Snow, and Custom.
To the left of that screen, there's Auto Setup and underneath that, Eco.
I never had Track, even before the flash for the check engine.

From when my car was new, there was nowhere to navigate "down" to.
The only options that was ever available were Sport/Auto/Wet-Snow/Custom.

How is Drag mode different from Sport mode? Can you tell?

Yeahh I was eyeballing a Daytona at launch, was actually gonna wait and grab the banshee, but changed my mind quick after following that fiasco. Thank you for your sacrifice

I assume it's this for sure. They just put it in the manual/advertising/etc. now to avoid revisions later and just caveat it with "if equipped"

You just double tap the drive mode button on the wheel then then hit the down or up buttons right next to it on the steering wheel. The center infotainment won't show them until you're actually in the "hidden" (glitched) modes so you can't use that display to change into drag/track, only the wheel buttons.

I had it briefly on my car before it was patched out. It's even louder (somehow?), shifting was even more aggressive and the steering wheel was more stiff. I only tried it once, so others might be able to give more details.

I tried the "double tap Drive Mode button" right after I bought my car (before the Rev C update) because I knew with my Durango 392 it brought you directly into Custom Mode. But I never used the UP/DOWN arrows after double tapping because there was nothing else on the center screen to scroll to except for Sport/Auto/Wet-Snow/Custom.

Maybe it was because my car was built in May 2026 and Dodge already deleted that glitch. Whatever the case, my car had Launch Control from day one and that's all you'd need with the Six Pack because there's no change in hp between any of the Drive Modes. You get full power in all of them:

We’re aware that on a limited number of vehicles, early software briefly showed drive modes not intended for launch. Stay tuned. We always have more up our sleeve … IYKYK.
